A History Untold: Kwame, Kwaku, Yaw. BBC World Service
A History Untold is an exhibition taking place at @signatureafricanart until 19th June. Presented by @maroitoje and curated by @lisaandersonaa , the exhibition tells untold stories through the works of African artists Giggs Kgole, Djakou Kassi Nathalie, Steve Ekpenisi and Damilola Okhoya on the top floor.
.
Adealide Damoah had the honour of creating a special immersive collaborative installation with the incomparable sound artist @music4architecture on the ground floor which "tells a special story about our ancestors (my great uncle and his dad) and and the Second World War. It’s a deeply personal story that potentially affects tens of thousands of colonial troops who served in the great war."
.
Watch this space for more information and discussion about the works in the show. For now, here is a small taste from our chat with the BBC.
.
With special thanks to the whole team for pulling this special show together. Khalil, Svetlana from Sutton PR, Tony, Lisa and installation king @leecavaliere
